アイソタクチックポリプロピレンのα１相とα２相の秩序構造形成　　ＩＶ

Phase transition between α1 and α2 forms of isotactic polypropylene (iPP) crystal is investigated by means of in-situ wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). Fraction of α1 and α2 forms of the sample crystallized at various Tcs were also obtained form WAXD profiles. When the α1 spherulite sample is annealed, the α1-α2 phase transition takes place at higher temperature than the case of annealing of the α1 iPP sample crystallized from the mesomorphic phase. Since the α1 sample crystallized from the mesomorphic phase is small, the melting point of it is low. The melting of the α1 crystal is considered to trigger the α1-α2 phase transition.
