アイソタクチックポリプロピレンフィルムの選択配向と熱膨張率異方性

Preferred crystal orientations of iPP uniaxially-drawn films prepared with various drawing conditions were evaluated by X-ray pole figure. The CLTE values of the sample films in drawn direction (MD), normal direction (ND), and transverse direction (TD) were calculated from the crystal orientation functions obtained from the pole figure and the thermal expansion coefficients along the a, b, and c directions of iPP ・1-form crystal. The calculated CLTE values were smaller than the observed values. It seems that the effect of preferred orientation in the amorphous region must be introduced in the estimation of the CLTE of the drawn films.
